The artist takes the portuguese guitar to new spaces and latitudes, creating fusions with other cultures and styles of music, breaking barriers and rules along the way, and taking the name of Portugal and the Portuguese guitar further.
Marta Pereira da Costa reached a turning point in her career with her performance at NPR Music’s acclaimed Tiny Desk in late 2023, garnering around 1 million views. In 2024, she consolidated her career with a world tour of 12 concerts over 35 days, traveling to countries such as Australia, the USA, Macau, Hong Kong, Spain, and the UK.
